Cal Faer (They/???) truly embodies the spirit of "The Bard" as a jack of all trades and boundless creative, often to a fault. They have grown up playing ttrpg's, and are coming up on an 18-year affair with this absolute timesink of a hobby. Blessed and cursed with queer audacity and ADHD, Cal is a singer, dancer, actor, costumer, playwrite, music composer, game designer, and fitness professional. They are also passionate about anatomy, nutrition, and witchcraft, but above all else, collaboration. Their diverse experience is the catalyst behind Fantasy Unhinged, combining their love of all things fantasy with their entertainment expertise to help others realize their make-believe dramas.

"Fantasy has always been my most reliable escape from any number of internal and external struggles. Now, it's my motivator to claim back my life."

McCandlys “Caine” Harrison (It/Any), is the edgy, misanthropic and tired of life Co-Designer for Fantasy Unhinged. Cal is forcing it to write about itself, so don’t expect much. It loves acting and power gaming. Seeing the inner mechanics of a game and how to manipulate it to piss off the GM and help elevate its fellow players into the spotlight. It loves finding anything to dissect and learn from. Growing up, video games were the way to escape until a little game called Iron Kingdoms spurred a Ten year love for TTRPGs. It has always had a dream of inspiring others through its voice and artworks in the way it was inspired as a child. It loves the darker sides of the human experience as can be seen as its character in Afterlife and its SMing style as the Shadowman of Shadowbound .

Ciara Hardy (She/Her), also going by her literary moniker - C.L Knight, is the team's creative consultant and editor. Stories have always been this little lady’s ambrosia; as a lover of fairy tales, mythology, and the diverse experiences of humanity, it isn’t a surprise that she made storytelling her profession. She has always found solace in the heroic deeds of epic heroes such as Achilles and Hercules, or became enamored with the vast worlds that were weaved from the imagination from the likes of C.S Lewis and Gene Roddenberry. It didn’t take long for a young black girl from North Philly to craft worlds of her own. As a black queer woman in today's climate, she has always fought to ensure that her voice is heard and to inspire others to do the same. It’s one of the reasons why she dove headfirst into Dungeons & Dragons in 2012, crossing the final line into Geekdom. Since then, she’s been a constant player at numerous TTRPG tables. From D&D to Tales from the Loop, she has brought her love of narrative storytelling, dynamic characters, and theatrical drama to shows such as Insight Check, Fabled Whispers, and House Roles.
